Introducing the remarkable Bremont H-4 Hercules Limited Edition stainless steel model, manufactured to salute the largest boat plane ever built; The H-4 Hercules. Deemed a national treasure by the United States House of Representatives, this legendary aircraft became the largest aircraft in the world and remains the biggest flying boat to ever take to the skies, a monumental achievement unlikely to ever be surpassed.
Limited to only 300 pieces, this historic timepiece incorporates some of the original Birchwood veneer that was on board the H-4 Hercules’ famous flight in 1947. This carefully preserved wood features in the way of four propeller blades integrated into the Bremont automatic winding rotor, meticulously cut to size by renowned bespoke luxury furniture makers Silverlinging. In addition to the veneer, the English made leather packaging of the Bremont H-4 Hercules watch features original aileron fabric from the aircraft's enormous, iconic wings.
Crafted in Stainless Steel the Bremont H-4 Hercules Limited Edition features Bremont’s Trip-Tick® case construction measuring at 43mm in diameter, 14.40mm in height and a lug width of 22mm. The engraved stainless steel caseback has 4 complimenting screws and integrated sapphire crystal, enabling the craftsmanship of the four exclusive Birchwood propellers to be easily admired.
The matt black dial features polished applied Arabic numeral hour markers, polished nickel hands filled with Super-LumiNova®, a 24-hour marked ring (for GMT functioning), calendar date display at 6 o’clock and a non-hacking small seconds counter positioned at 9 o’clock.
This inspired 300 piece Limited Edition stainless steel model comes presented on the vintage leather brown strap, completing the nostalgic feel and design.
